What is the Skywalk(+15)?

The Calgary Skywalk (+15) system is a series of enclosed and connected walkways 15 feet above the ground. Covering some 16 kilometres (10 miles), it is the world’s most extensive pedestrian skywalk network. The Calgary +15 has 59 bridges and links dozens of buildings in downtown Calgary, including the CTCC. You can view the network at Calgary +15.

Where can I charge my electronic devices?

There are currently 2 lockable charging stations, one in Exhibition Hall pre-function and the other in Macleod Hall pre-function. We currently have a third station that is unique: For $6 you can rent a portable battery, the size of a smartphone, that you can carry with you all day long. This new station is located on the main floor of the North Building next to Guest Services. There is also a fourth charging area on the main floor of the North Building beside the escalator if you’d like to sit and plug in your device.

Where can I find an ATM/cash machine?

You’ll find an automated banking machine on the main floor of the North Building near Guest Services. Downtown Calgary also has numerous banking machines and bank branches for your convenience.

Where can I park?

Where is the nearest public telephone?

There are no public phones on the property. Guests may visit Guest Services should they need assistance to make a telephone call.

Can I bring or have animals at my booth?

Animals or pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted in the CTCC unless written approval has been obtained from the CTCC prior to the animal or pet being brought into the CTCC. To apply for approval, please contact the Facilities Department at 403-261-8559 and request the Animal Authorization Request Form.

Can I offer food or beverage samples and/or provide catering services at my booth?

The exclusive caterer of the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre is the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel. To hand out food or beverages from other providers, prior permission must be granted by the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel. How do I get to the loading dock?

Driving directions to North Loading Dock:
Drive south on 1st Street SE (one-way going south) and stay in the right lane. Just after 7th Avenue (C-Train tracks), you will see the entrance to the loading dock. Turn and drive to the top of the ramp. On the right-hand side, you will see the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre Loading Dock.

Where is the on-site desk location for CTCC and Superior Show Service?

Superior Show Service’s on-site desk is located on the show floor area during show move-in. Staff will be available during the show hours and move out on the loading dock area.

Calgary TELUS Convention Centre’s on-site desk is located on the main floor of the North Building at the Guest Services desk. This is where you can order additional electrical, internet, telecommunication, water, or compressed air.

Can we brand the CTCC?

Yes, we have in-house suppliers for decals, signage, and more.

Do you have outdoor space?

Our Glen area and several of our pre-function spaces provide access to Stephen Avenue, which is extremely pedestrian friendly.

Do you have space with carpet?

All venue spaces are carpeted with the exception of Exhibition Hall, which has epoxy coated concrete.

Do you have space with natural light?

Our Exhibition Hall E and pre-function areas feature floor to ceiling windows that let in beautiful natural light. Glen area also has skylights and our outdoor patio receives plenty of natural light.

Our standard room set-up for theatre, classroom, boardroom or u-shape includes:

  • One room set-up
  • One floor plan for each set-up (for >50 people)
  • Water station or water cooler
  • Digital listing of your event
  • Registration table
  • Four uncarpeted staging units (16″ or 24″ high)
  • One 15 amp electrical circuit
  • One podium
  • For boardroom, u-shape, hollow square and head table set-ups: paper pads and pens, plus ice water with one refresh
