Masking: There are no mask requirements at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. That changes if a client requires it. We will work to accommodate your needs.
Ventilation: Our award-winning air filtration system is the unseen hero of your event. Through enhanced outside air intake and optimized air handling schedules, our oxygen quality isn’t only improved, it’s a breath of fresh air.
Touch-free amenities: Enjoy the ease of a contactless experience, from soap and hand towel dispensers to doors, all complemented by strategically placed hand sanitizer stations throughout the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.
Enhanced sanitization schedule: Common touch surfaces receive extra attention from our highly trained cleaning and sanitization teams. From furniture and doors to meeting rooms, washrooms and common use areas, we’re vigilant about cleanliness.
Monitoring: Our commitment to safety and cleanliness includes regular testing of sanitization products and procedures to ensure their effectiveness.
Food safety procedures: We ensure that your dining experience at the CTCC is a safe one. Our kitchens diligently follow Marriott International, Alberta Food Safety and Public Health requirements with continuous updates to meet the highest standards.
Staff, supplier and contractor pre-shift screening: Safety starts before each shift. All employees, suppliers, and contractors undergo screenings which include screening questionnaires and temperature checks.
Rapid response plan: Prioritizing the health and safety of all guests, our proactive strategies help us deliver quick assistance to any guest experiencing symptoms during an event.

Security services
We take your safety and security seriously. Our in-house team is on the job all day and night, including Calgary emergency services, Occupational Health & Safety officers and mobile security extending to the surrounding +15 Skywalk connections.
Your event is unique and so is the safety and security plan we create for it. Whether it’s increased security, medical or law enforcement, we can coordinate each of these elements to ensure your signature event is a success.
