Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) is an annual international day of events that celebrates the powerful economic impact of business meetings, events, conferences and tradeshows. GMID will take place on April 7, 2022 bringing together industry leaders in Calgary at The Grand Theatre for a day of discussion on topics like diversity and inclusion, supporting local and the future of our city.

This year, GMID is more important than ever. As the world moves to a post pandemic society, in-person business events are a key driver to kick start economies locally and globally and fast track the visitor economy towards recovery. While remote and hybrid events helped to bridge the gap during the pandemic in-person events allow for valuable human interaction which is so important in driving innovation and business.
