Pedesting: A New Way to Navigate the CTCC

Get it on Google PlayThe Calgary TELUS Convention Centre has partnered with Pedesting, an app that can help people with disabilities, tourists and parents with strollers avoid barriers, such as stairs, and find accessible routes to their destinations. Pedesting provides convenient, mobile wayfinding through buildings for all pedestrians. People with vision loss can receive audio directions to assist with navigation.

Our variety of room sizes allows us to host events of all types and sizes – board meetings, corporate Christmas parties, grand galas, weddings, graduations, conventions, fundraisers, and trade and consumer shows, to name a few.
We are directly connected to three hotels, totalling over 1,110 rooms, using the city’s +15 pathway system: The Calgary Marriott Downtown, the Hyatt Regency Calgary, and the Fairmont Palliser. Beyond that, there are over 4,000 total rooms within the downtown core.

Our Glen area and several of our pre-function spaces provide easy access to Stephen Avenue, which is extremely walkable and friendly to pedestrians.
Exhibition Hall E and the pre-function areas feature floor to ceiling windows that let in beautiful natural light. The Glen area has skylights, and our outdoor patio receives plenty of natural light.
The CTCC is conveniently located in downtown Calgary. It is directly attached to a hotel, museums, and an art centre as well as Stephen Avenue, which is lined with shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
